Hello, United South Central Parents and Community Members,
We have reached the end of the 2023-2024 school year at United South Central. As of today, we have just 22 days remaining, and the summer months will quickly be here. It has been an eventful and productive year at United South Central, and thank you for your help in making this an impactful school year for our students.
2024-2025 School Year Calendar - Please remember that we will be dismissing one hour early on Wednesdays during the upcoming 2024-2025 school year (with the exception of the first and last Wednesdays of the school year, which will be normal length days). This schedule creates time for our teachers and support staff to participate in valuable professional development to help them be at their best for our students. Please keep this change in mind as you look ahead to the upcoming school year.
Wednesday Activities Scheduling - Our sincere aim as we set activities schedules throughout the school year is to avoid scheduling games and competitions on Wednesday evenings. Unfortunately, with the amount of cancellations and postponements we have had due to the weather recently, we are looking at Wednesdays as the only date that works to reschedule a few activities. We anticipate that we will have a few Wednesday events on our schedule over the next three weeks, and we will do our best to schedule these events as early in the evening as possible. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we navigate our rainy weather this spring.
Interesting Fact - United South Central offers 17 different athletic activities and 24 fine arts activities. We are proud of our student participants in activities at USC, and the determination and work ethic they show to do their best in both activities and the classroom.
